We saw BlackBerry App World 4.0 hit the Beta Zone last month and now it looks like it is ready for prime time. RIM has tuned the app and changed the payment system to their new BlackBerry Commerce Payment Services. They have also removed gifting/begging and ringtones.
Check out the list below:
  • Integration with BlackBerry Commerce Payment Services for Credit Card and PayPal Purchases
  • NFC Tag Integration
  • Ability to Permanently Delete Apps from My World
  • Ability to Re-Install All Apps From My World
  • Automatic Find in My World
  • SMS Authentication
  • Removal of Gifting/Begging and Ringtones
You can find the update at the App World download site or from App World. Thanks for the tip @diegonei. Let us know if you have any issues with the download.
