Connect your Google account to Evernote

Connect your Google account to Evernote:
I am probably not alone when I say that Evernote has become an indispensable piece of software. The free service works with Windows, Mac and Linux, as well as mobile operating systems, and even provides handy web browser plugins like Web Clipper. Of course, a Google account is also a must-have for many of us these days. Now a service called Everbot is looking to bring Evenote and Google together.
The startup provides plugins for both Gmail and Google Calendar that lets you interact with your Evernote account and share information between the two platforms.
Plugins are compatible across multiple browsers – Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari. The service is free and you will need to install separate plugins for both Gmail and Google Calendar.
Once installed you will need to connect it to both your Google account and Evernote account — this is done separately for each plugin. Once connected, you will find a new “Send to Evernote” button in each service. Clicking this will bring up a small dialogue box that allows you to choose which notebook you would like to save the item to. You can also add tags and comments to make your content easier to find via search. You now have access to the item from multiple Evernote platforms such as the web site and your mobile app on your smartphone.

This may not seem like a big deal because, after all, smartphones allow us to access our email and calendars on the go, but sometimes we are out of range of a cellular or WiFi connection. Evernote is almost constantly syncing, making it available even without 3G, 4G or WiFi. You can also categorize this information into dedicated notebooks, making it easier to find.
The apps are free and there are no ads included. Currently just Gmail and Google Calendar are available, but it appears that Everbot is planning to add Outlook support in the future, as it is listed on the website, but currently without a download link.
