BlackBerry PlayBook on sale

Some of the sales lately on the BlackBerry PlayBook have been great, bringing the price down to $249/299 for the 16GB. Now that we're fast approaching Christmas and the holiday season, you can likely expect to see prices dip down even further in the coming weeks. One such deal has already popped up, at Walmart in Canada.

Word has it if you're in Quebec you can snatch up a 16GB PlayBook for just $198 from November 16-22nd with the rest of Canada following suite from November 18-24th. And if 16GB just won't cut it for you, why not grab a 32GB for $298 or 64GB for $398? Seen any other upcoming, smoking deals on the PlayBook? Drop a comment below and let us know. Thanks Raj!

For those who own compatible iOS devices, you will be pleased to learn that the update will be available for download today , so you can wait for your iOS device to prompt you, or you can go to your phone's Settings -> General -> Software Update and try and pull it manually. However if you don't see it yet, you might have to wait since we expect that the rollout to all the markets around the world could take a while, so maybe give it a couple of hours and try again, but regardless its availability is still set for today. iOS 11 is the latest iOS update for iPhones and iPads and is the successor to last year's iOS 10. It will introduce a bunch of new features, such as a redesigned Control Center, a redesigned App Store, a new file manager (finally) that will allow iOS users to better manage their files, and there's even a new Do ...

The company is introducing new security changes which will prevent those devices from using the latest version of iTunes. Apple says that the original Apple TV is an "obsolete Apple product" and will not be updated to support security changes. Only those with the second generation of Apple TV or later will be able to access the iTunes store. Windows XP or Vista users won't be able to use the latest version of iTunes, but older Windows computers can still use previous versions without support from Apple. Those who do so, however, won't be able to make new purchases or re-download previous purchases on that computer. If you're on on XP or Vista, you'll need to upgrade to Windows 7 or later to continue using iTunes normally. The writing was already on the wall for these devi...
