Windows 8.1 Update Download
Microsoft is slowly but surely turning Windows 8 into a palatable operating system, starting with the first major Windows 8.1 update. Some of the new features of the update include the ability to pin apps to the taskbar, a right-click context menu on the Start screen and a host of keyboard and mouse functionality improvements. Unfortunately, the fated return of the Start menu is still at least an update away, but at least we finally know for sure that it's coming. Although the update is set to go live on Windows Update at 12pm ET, Neowin has gathered all the download links for the update in one convenient location for any impatient Windows users who want a better OS right this minute.

Windows XP or Vista users won't be able to use the latest version of iTunes, but older Windows computers can still use previous versions without support from Apple. Those who do so, however, won't be able to make new purchases or re-download previous purchases on that computer. If you're on on XP or Vista, you'll need to upgrade to Windows 7 or later to continue using iTunes normally. The writing was already on the wall for these devi...
