Apple Will Now Provide Support Via Twitter
Apple is making it easier for you to get expert support for its products. The company has launched a dedicated support account on Twitter and it will now start offering help through the microblogging network. The official account is already live and it didn’t take more than 30 minutes after it went live to start helping out users facing problems with their Apple products.
There doesn’t appear to be anything special about this support account in that it looks like just about any other customer service account that you can find on Twitter. It’s taking questions that cover services like Apple Music, setup procedures for Apple IDs and much more. The account is also going to provide tips on how to use the company’s products.
Apple already has several accounts on Twitter for different services like iTunes, Apple Music, etc but it has never really offered support in this manner. This just goes to show that the company has now grown more comfortable with this format and is open to helping out users through the microblogging network.
It’s not doing anything ground breaking here though. Everybody from fast food chains to airlines use Twitter to provide customer service. One can even say that the company is playing catch up, but I’m sure many of its customers will appreciate having a quicker support channel now.
