The Internet Archive is the home of our digital past, and now it’s offering the greatest gift to any kid who grew up in the 80s and 90s: thousands of playable Amiga games.
If you’re unfamiliar with Amiga, the computer system was the technological successor of the Commodore 64, one of the most popular computers ever made. The Amiga 1000 ran on its own operating system (Amiga OS), could display up to 4,096 colors, and was Commodore’s heavyweight contender against Apple’s Macintosh. It’s still a much-loved machine to this day.
As The Next Web notes, the Amiga system didn’t even have 10,000 games, so the archive could probably use a little housekeeping to get rid of some duplicates. But there is some Double Dragon and Batman: The Movie along with some other titles I’ve never heard of but sound A+.
Even though Amiga is no longer with us (RIP 1985-1994), nostalgia never dies. Clear your schedule. It’s time for dip back in time.

However if you don't see it yet, you might have to wait since we expect that the rollout to all the markets around the world could take a while, so maybe give it a couple of hours and try again, but regardless its availability is still set for today. iOS 11 is the latest iOS update for iPhones and iPads and is the successor to last year's iOS 10. It will introduce a bunch of new features, such as a redesigned Control Center, a redesigned App Store, a new file manager (finally) that will allow iOS users to better manage their files, and there's even a new Do ...
Apple has announced today it will drop iTunes support for some older devices from May 25. This includes the first generation Apple TV, and also any PC running Windows XP or Vista. The company is introducing new security changes which will prevent those devices from using the latest version of iTunes. Apple says that the original Apple TV is an "obsolete Apple product" and will not be updated to support security changes. Only those with the second generation of Apple TV or later will be able to access the iTunes store. Windows XP or Vista users won't be able to use the latest version of iTunes, but older Windows computers can still use previous versions without support from Apple. Those who do so, however, won't be able to make new purchases or re-download previous purchases on that computer. If you're on on XP or Vista, you'll need to upgrade to Windows 7 or later to continue using iTunes normally. The writing was already on the wall for these devi...
